About MAD
MAD is a special interest club at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center devoted to the theatrical arts, supported by the Goddard Employees Welfare Association. As such, the club is focused on Goddard employees and contractors and their immediate families, and new members from this community are always welcome. There is a strong sense of family within the group, the opportunity to grow various skills in the theatrical arts, the pride in mounting major productions during the year, and the fun of a strong social group of people with a shared interest. While by its nature MAD is not an open community theater group, guests are welcome to participate in positions that cannot be filled from within the group, in production and technical support, choruses, and orchestra.
