The MAD Vice President has resigned due to family obligations, leaving a vacancy on the Board. The Vice President is responsible for ensuring that MAD does shows, by chairing the Show Selection Committees, and then helping to find a Producer and get the Production Council going for each show. The VP also fills in for the President, if needed. It is one of the most important roles on the Board, since shows are what MAD does. The VP should be a badged civil servant or badged contractor employee of Goddard, or a retired Goddard civil servant. The Board is responsible for appointing a new VP to fill out the existing term, but has decided to open up the position to nominations and self-nominations.
