MAD is pleased to announce the 2025 Winter Show: Almost, Maine, pending the availability of rights. Almost, Maine was written by John Cariani, and will be directed by James Pildis and Aly Bayens. Almost, Maine is a comedy made up of nine short vignettes that explore love and loss in a remote, mythical almost-town called Almost, Maine. One cold, clear Friday night in the middle of winter, while the northern lights hover in the sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in the strangest ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. Love is lost, found, and confounded. And life for the people of Almost, Maine will never be the same. With roles for up to 19 actors, auditions will be held in mid-January for a performance run in March. Watch the MAD website for more information.
