MAD Productions presents

Ken Ludwig’s Moon Over Buffalo, directed by Randy Barth and produced by Susan Breon

The production will run from April 10-25 at the Barney & Bea Recreation Center, 9998 Good Luck Road, Greenbelt. On Fridays the show will start at 7pm; on Saturdays, April 11 and 18, at 7pm; on Sundays at 2pm; and on closing Saturday, April 25, at 2pm.

Each show will begin with a musical cabaret entitled Wrong Turn, Right Song, based on Confusion and Mistakes, immediately followed by the play. Ken Ludwig’s Moon over Buffalo is a comedy about a husband-and-wife acting duo, George and Charlotte Hay, who are performing in repertory in Buffalo, New York in 1953. Their careers are on the brink of disaster when they learn that famous film director Frank Capra might be coming to see their show, giving them a potential last chance at Hollywood stardom. However, everything that can go wrong does go wrong.  With slamming doors, mistaken identities and costume malfunctions, this hilarious play has all of the classic elements of a farce. Parental Guidance suggested: some material may not be suitable for children.

If you would like to host at some of the shows (we ask you to commit to at least 3 shows), taking tickets and working the concessions, email Susan Breon at sbreon99@verizon.net. Help is also needed at work sessions on March 7 and 21, mostly for painting set pieces, and at move-in on March 28 and 29.
